『ドゥ・イット！』は、1プレイ5分ほどで終わるシンプルなマイクロゲームです。一人がキツネ、もう一人がタヌキとなり、各プレイヤーは同じ機能を持つ5枚のカードを持ってスタートします。
ゲームのスペースは、キツネの前、テーブル、タヌキの前の3カ所に分かれています。テーブルの上には3つの食べ物トークンがあり、誰でもすべての食べ物トークンを自分の前に持ってきたら、その場で勝利となります。または、5ラウンド終了後に相手よりも多くの食べ物が前にある場合も勝利となります。
各ラウンドは3つの段階で進行します。第1段階では1枚、第2・3段階では2枚のカードを伏せて出し、同時に公開した後、先手から順に効果を処理します。これらの効果によって食べ物トークンがそれぞれ移動します。お互いにまだ使用していないカードが分かっているため、適切なタイミングで必要なカードを使用する心理戦が繰り広げられます。また、先手マーカーが頻繁に入れ替わるため、カードの効果を思い通りに処理するのは意外と簡単ではありません。
ユニークな点は、ゲーム内に独自の「ミニ拡張」が含まれていることです。各食べ物トークンの裏面にはアイコンがあり、その食べ物が自分の前にある間、該当する機能が発動します。
小さいサイズながらも、素晴らしいイラストと臨場感のある雰囲気で、いつでもどこでも気軽に楽しめる2人用ゲームになっています。
Do It! is a simple micro-game that takes about 5 minutes per round. One player takes the role of the Fox and the other the Raccoon, and both players start with 5 cards with identical functions.
The game space is divided into three areas: in front of the Fox, the table, and in front of the Raccoon. There are three food tokens on the table, and any player who brings all the food tokens to their side wins immediately. Alternatively, you win if you have more food in front of you than your opponent after 5 rounds.
Each round proceeds in three stages. In the first stage, you play one card, and in the second and third stages, you play two cards face-down. After they are simultaneously revealed, effects are resolved starting with the first player. These effects cause the food tokens to move. Since players essentially know which cards the other hasn't used yet, psychological warfare comes into play as you try to use the right cards at the right timing. Furthermore, because the first player marker moves frequently, it is not as easy as you might think to resolve card effects exactly as intended.
A unique feature is that the game includes its own "mini-expansion." There are icons on the back of each food token, and their specific functions are activated as long as that food is in front of you.
Despite its small size, the stunning illustrations and immersive atmosphere make it a perfect 2-player game to enjoy comfortably anywhere, anytime.
