What is "Fishman"? It's Indian Poker x Trick-Taking!

I want to tell you even more about how fun the variant rule “Fishman” is—
a special bonus included with pre-orders of the new product edition of our past title Fisherman!

Honestly, this gimmick alone feels strong enough to be its own standalone game.
But since it plays perfectly with the existing Fisherman cards, we decided to release it as a variant instead. 🎣

Getting two completely different games out of one deck…
it’s hard not to call that an incredible deal!

・For 3 players
・Indian Poker × Trick-Taking

You are a Fishman.
You must avoid catching fish of your own species—
but you don’t actually know what species you are.
You can see the species of the other Fishmen, though,
so nudge your opponents toward a bit of “accidental cannibalism” 🐟

Here’s what it looks like in play:
Set up card stands so that only others can see your species, while you remain in the dark.

As you keep playing, you might start thinking your neighbors look suspiciously… fish-like!?

You want the others to commit cannibalism, but if you make it too obvious, they’ll figure out who you are.
Maybe you’re sure you must be Squid, but then—oops!—you reveal at the end that you were actually Sea Bream all along!

This doesn’t affect scoring, but it’s also fun to end the game by asking,
“So, what species did YOU think you were?” before turning the cards around.

The combination of Indian Poker × Trick-Taking is surprisingly entertaining—
highly recommended.
It’s not a standalone product, but please don’t miss it ❣️
